Edward Norton

Edward Norton was born August 18, 1969 in Maryland. He is an actor, director, producer, and screenwriter. He was first nominated for an Academy Award in 1996 for the film Primal Fear and his success has only become more apparent since. Some of his most popular roles include American History X, Fight Club, The Illusionist, and Red Dragon. The first film Norton directed was in 2000 titled Keeping the Faith.

When Norton is not working in the film industry, he is an activist. He works for a non-profit that his grandfather founded that focuses on making housing affordable. Activism and charities play a large role in his life, especially since he became a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
